Minecraft adds tribute to Technoblade after streamer’s death

The streamer's death from cancer was announced by his family last week, and an update has been made to the game to honor him. There is a pig wearing a golden crown in the game's splash image.

The team of the game was sad over the loss of Technoblade and wrote that he brought a lot of joy to the game's community.

We have been trying to find the words, but all of us here at Minecraft are heartbroken over the loss of Technoblade. He meant so much to our community and brought so much joy. He will be missed dearly. ️

One of the most popular streamers in the world, Technoblade, was a part of the Dream SMP server. The father of Technoblade read a message from the streamer and talked about the work that had gone into making the final video as he was fighting cancer. It has more than 50 million views.

The streamer community and members of the creator community have paid tribute to Technoblade. Many pieces of fanart have been posted to the social networking site.

The splash screen has been updated but the team hasn't acknowledged it yet. The original image has a pig in the same position, but it doesn't have the trademark crown.
