Rent prices can be high in the summer because it is a busy time of the year.

Prices seem to be cooling a bit compared to the last year. According to the National Rent Report for June 2022, median rent prices for one-bedroom apartments are up 2.5% month over month, and median rent prices for two-bedrooms are down 3.0%.

There was a slight increase in median rent for one-bedroom apartments between May and June. In terms of the drop, Tallahassee, Florida had the biggest one at 6.5%.

Miami saw a drop in median rent prices even though it wasn't one of the top five cities. The median price for a one-bedroom apartment decreased in June.
