The previous series was done in a cartoonish style, but Stampede is done in a more stylized style. The result is very similar to the Guilty gear franchise. The staff is new to the series and will behelmed by Kenji Mutou, who is best known for his work on Cavity Express. The voice cast is new, with Vash and Million Knives being the main characters. The voices of Rem Saverem and Vash and Knives will be provided by Maaya Sakamoto.
The plot of Stampede is the same as the original, with the exception of the newness. With the help of insurance agents, Vash is trying to avoid getting snatched up by bounty hunters who want to get rich off his bounty, all while maintaining his pacifist ideology. The original Manga by Nightow was well-received and the first adaptation by Madhouse was one of the best series ever. The first film in the series was called Trigun: Badlands rumble.
The original series of Trigun Stampede can be seen on Crunchyroll, where it will be released in 2023.
