More than 59,000 cars should be recalled due to a software issue. On June 29th, the KBA published a notice on its website notifying owners of a bug with the eCall safety system on those cars. In the event of a serious accident, the tool can't automatically call first responders.

The problem affects 59,129 vehicles, including the Model Y, which was manufactured in Berlin. The notice was reported by German media.

Three of the 11 recalls this year were related to a software bug. About 130,000 vehicles were recalled by the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration due to a glitch that could cause the in-car entertainment system to malfunction in the future. After a decline in vehicle deliveries on Saturday, a new safety issue came to light.
