The January 6 committee featured Hutchinson's testimony on the chaotic final weeks of the Trump administration. According to Hutchinson, Trump lunged at a Secret Service agent after he was told he couldn't go to the Capitol due to security concerns. On the morning of January 6th, Hutchinson testified that Trump wanted metal detectors removed from the entrance to the rally because it slowed down the entry of armed people.

NBC News reported that a Secret Service agent and the driver of the limo are prepared to testify under oath that Trump did not lunge for the steering wheel and neither of them were attacked. Attorneys for Hutchinson said in a statement that she stands by her testimony, which was based on a conversation she had with another White House official.

In an interview with ABC News on Sunday, the committee vice chair addressed the attacks on Hutchinson. Cheney said that the committee wouldn't stand by and watch her character be assassinated by anonymous sources. We are looking forward to more testimony under oath.

What To Watch For

The next hearing won't be held until the House returns from a two week recess on July 11. The committee will hold a total of eight hearings according to Cheney. The final hearing will focus on what the president was doing and what he wasn't doing as the Capitol was attacked.

The biggest bombshells of Tuesday's hearing were from Trump attacking security to throwing a plate at a wall.

Cassidy Hutchinson is not known. On Tuesday, the Ex-Meadows aide was to testify. There is a magazine called "Forbes."

The next committee hearings will take place on January 6.
