If the 76ers wanted to take a chance on Irving, they could keep Tyrese Maxey as their point guard.

Last season, Dallas reached the Western Conference Finals. Irving would take some pressure off Luka Doncic as another ball-handler and scorer, which is especially needed after the team lost a key player.

It might not be the best idea to put another ball-dominant guard on the roster since Doncic had the highest usage rate in the NBA.
