The company produced 258,580 vehicles in the second quarter of the year. It increased the number of cars it made by 25 percent in the second quarter of the year, but it was still less than it produced at the beginning of the year. The company manufactured over 300,000 cars in the first three months of the year, a decline from the previous quarter.

In the past three months, the company has delivered fewer cars than it did at the beginning of the year. Between the first and second quarters of the year, deliveries fell by nearly 18 percent. It is the first time in two years that the deliveries have fallen.

Parts shortages affected the entire auto industry. Due to the COVID-19 lockdowns that hit China's most populous city,Tesla was forced to stop work multiple times.

It is possible that the company will bounce back next quarter. The company achieved its highest monthly vehicle production volume in June. When the company reports its Q2 results on July 20th, we will know more.
