On Thursday, four Arizona Republicans duked it out in a gubernatorial debate that could only be described as clowning around.
Candidates gathered to make their pitch to voters, who will cast ballots to replace Republican Gov. Doug Ducey, who is term-limited and cannot run again. The only televised debate of the primary election was more of an opportunity for the candidates to trash one another rather than addressing the concerns of voters.
Some quotes from the candidates were featured in a highlight reel.

Lake, a former nightly news anchor for FOX 10 in Arizona, made a claim that has been discredited by auditors and county officials. Lake said she felt like she was in an SNL skit after arguments about election fraud in 2020. Since I've been to a baby shower, I haven't been on a stage with this many women. That's really bad.
"I don't know how that's going to go over Scott but I'll let that hang," said Ted Simons, the debate moderator, who seemed at least moderately self aware.
The voices on the left and right made up the majority of the reactions on the social networking site.

It is possible that this could be worse. Did you watch the Republican primary debate? It is worse than first thought.
