According to reports and law enforcement, a man was arrested Friday night on charges of stalking Taylor Swift after he yelled at her and broke into her apartment.
Swift is attending the MTV Video Music Awards.
Joshua Christian was arrested on Friday after he showed up to the singer's apartment building and threatened to harm her if she didn't stay with him.
The New York Police Department told Forbes that Christian was taken into custody on Friday.
The NYPD wouldn't say if the incident involved Swift because it doesn't share the names of victims, but it did say that Christian yelled over the apartment's intercom and entered the building, where he was confronted by security and then fled on foot.
