Apple Plans to Launch MacBook Air With M2 Chip on July 15

Pre-orders for the new MacBook Air with the M2 chip are expected to start on Friday, July 8 according to a source.

The new MacBook Air will be available in July, but Apple didn't say when.

The new MacBook Air has a larger display, a flatter appearance, and new colors. MagSafe 3 charging, an upgraded camera, two ports, a Magic Keyboard with physical Fn keys, and more are included in the notebook.

The previous MacBook Air is still available for $299 in the US.

The M2 MacBook Pro has a slower read/ write speed than the M1 model.

The real-world tests conducted by Created Tech and Max Tech found that the read and write speeds of the 128 gigabyte model are 50% and 30% slower than the previous model.
