Beattie talked about his original plan for the story in an interview with the Direct. Obi-Wan was going to have a major role in the Clone Wars cartoon as well as in Attack of the Clones, and one of the main characters was CommanderCody, who was an orange-highlighted Stormtrooper. It was so much better when we had an army at our backs that the two old warriors were arguing about.
The scene where Obi-Wan dumped a group of bounty hunter corpses in the sarlacc pit was one of the highlights of the show. Some bounty hunters discovered Obi-Wan and they need to dispose of the bodies. There was a scene where you have to decide what to do with bodies on Tatooine. You go to the local sarlacc. The scene was supposed to include a mysterious speeder catching the duo in the act, but it turned out to be a wasted opportunity to dispose of a corpse of a different person.
Obi-Wan had a vision after touching a sacred stone that the refugees would have worshiped the Force as a Goddess. The Jedi opened his eyes to see that he had been transported to the other side of the world.
He saw a guy in a dark robe with a red lightsaber, and he said, "Anakin, Anakin, Anakin!" The guy in the robe lifted his lightsaber as he came up. The man is Mark Hamill. And so, the man is attacked by the man. It was similar to Empire Strikes Back in that Obi-Wan and Obi-Wan had a lightsaber battle and Obi-Wan snapped out of it.
If you want to learn more about the many other elements that could have been, you should read the interview. If Obi-Wan Kenobi gets a second season, it would be great if Temuera Morrison showed up. I pick Drunk Jawa if it comes down to a choice between the two characters.
