SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket with a batch of 53 Starlink internet satellites lifts off from space launch complex 40 at the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Cape Canaveral, Fla., Thursday, April 21, 2022

The green light has just been given for Starlink to expand. The FCC gave the go-ahead for Starlink to be used to give internet to vehicles in motion.

The private satellite communications company was granted permission by the FCC to expand its deals with airlines. While on the move, whether driving an RV across the country, moving a freighter from Europe to a U.S. port, or while, the range of broadband capabilities will be expanded thanks to the approval of a new class of terminals.

A megaconstellation of 42,000 satellites is being built by Musk and his company to provide internet to distant parts of the world. The United States, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, the United Kingdom, and Spain and France are some of the places where Starlink is providing internet. The company wants to expand by the end of the year.
