The period of exclusive talks between the club and a group led by Peter Kenyon ended on Friday.

Farhad Moshiri wants to invest in the new stadium.

There were discussions about a stake in the club with the group, led by the former Manchester United andChelsea chief executive.

The decision was made to move on.

It is not clear if the group, which included US investors, are still interested in helping to fund the stadium.

The stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock will be delivered by Moshiri and is set to open in twenty four years.

Russian sponsors who were owned or part-owned by Alisher Usmanov have had their contracts suspended byEverton after the Russian billionaire was involved in the invasion ofUkraine.

The deadline for the accounting period for last season was 30 June and the deal to sell Richarlison to Spurs was done that day. The books will be balanced for the next three years.
