The Fourth of July is coming up and that means we are at peak cookout season.

When it's cookout season, I want a delicious, juicy burger.

Lots of people don't have a grill, or don't want a cloud of smoke in their apartment, but that doesn't mean they can't have a delicious burger. You can make a really good burger in the air fryer. Really.

Is it going to be like a burger on a grill? It's possible that it isn't. It is difficult to recreate the flavor of a real fire. A good air fryer burger is better than a garden variety one. You need to know what to look for.

Ingredients

  • A pound of ground beef.

  • Burger buns.

  • There are three slices of cheese.

  • 2 cups of soy sauce

  • Salt, pepper, garlic powder, and chili powder are the things that make up this amount.

  • There are a few leaves of lettuce.

  • There is one tomato.

  • One onion.

  • A dash of mayonnaise.

  • Red wine is made from wine grapes.

Directions

  1. The ground beef should be placed in a bowl. Salt, pepper, garlic powder, chili powder, and soy sauce should be added to it. If you mix evenly, you will get a mixture.

  2. The ground beef should be made into patties. If you press them down, they will be bigger than your buns. The goal is to have total bun coverage as the patties shrink.

  3. The temperature of your air fryer needs to be adjusted to 400 degrees. As the air fryer cooks the bread, toss your buns into it.

  4. Remove the buns before spraying the basket with oil. Air fry the burgers for 8 minutes.

  5. The romaine lettuce should be dressed with mayonnaise and red wine vinaigrette. Put the tomato and onion aside.

  6. If you don't want cheese, cover the burgers with it.

  7. Allow the burgers to rest for a second. The onions should be placed on the buns. The lettuce and tomato should be placed on the buns. The top bun should be placed on top of the burger. Dressing with your favorite condiments can be fun.

The details

This recipe is very easy to make. Air fryers are supposed to make things easy. It's important to make sure you season the meat. The most important step in this recipe is that. The directions don't give a good idea of how much seasoning is needed. If you prefer onion powder, cayenne, or any number of seasonings, you can swap out garlic or chili powder. Don't use too much salt. It helps to boost the salinity with something like soy sauce. It helps keep the burger moist.

You need to be aware of that. If you want to cook a burger in an oven it's best to use an air fryer because it's small and high-powered. There is a burger that is juicy and pink in the middle. The recipe tries to get that result. If you have an air fryer, you can cook six minutes. Pull your burgers at your preferred temperature if you can.

The recipe is easy to understand. The best way to toast the buns is during the preheat. Dress the lettuce after it's cut. The extra step adds a lot of flavor to the burger. The acid of red wine vinaigrette makes each bite sharper, while the mayonnaise adds a little fat to the meat. Add the cheese and enjoy.

My final product was shown here. It's not bad for an air fryer.

Is it a decision? The burger is a good one. It's better than the burger you get at your local cookout, and it's cooked well. There is something resembling a sear on the burger when the air fryer is hot. You get great flavor from the seasoning in the meat and the dressing on the lettuce. This is a good option for a Fourth of July dinner if you don't have time for a grill.
