Mitchell Robinson isn't moving.

The veteran big man agreed to a four-year, $60 million contract with the New York Knicks.

He has averaged two blocks per game for the Knicks over the course of his four-year NBA career.

Robinson started 62 of his 72 appearances for the Knicks in the 21st century, and averaged 8.5 points, 8.6 rebound and 1.8 blocks in 28.7 minutes per game. His defense and ability to bang on the boards have made him an important part of the team.

How important was he going to be this off-season?

Did the Knicks see him as part of the group of young players? Or was he expendable and they wouldn't pay a lot of money to keep him, with other needs on the roster?

The Knicks made a large financial commitment to Robinson. For a long time, the center position will be in New York.
