Manchester United hope to sign Tyrrell Malacia after agreeing deal with Feyenoord

After agreeing a deal to sign the full-back from the Dutch club, Manchester United hope to complete the 15m signing of Malacia.

Malacia's representation has complicated a move for the 22-year-old.

The agent who looks after the Dutch player is also the one who deals with Frenkie De Jong.

The issue of Malacia wanting a family member to look after the contract discussions has been resolved.

The left-back, who has five Dutch caps, was part of the Feyenoord team that lost in the final of theEuropa Conference League.

Before United stepped in, he was a target for Lyon.

Ahead of the club's departure for Thailand on 8 July for their first pre-season game, United's international players are due to return for pre-season training next week.

John Murtough, the club's football director, is still in talks with Barcelona over the transfer of De Jong.
