Jesse Lingard: Everton hold talks with former Manchester United midfielder

Talks have been held with Jesse Lingard.

At the end of June, the 29-year-old was a free agent.

He had a successful loan spell at West ham during the 2020-21 season.

After selling Richarlison for $60m, Frank Lampard wants to sign players before the club's pre-season trip to the US later this month.

On Friday, the Brazilian forward joined Spurs.

Lingard fell out of favor at Manchester United and said he felt let down by his treatment at a club where he graduated to the first team via the club's academy.

West Ham have tried to sign the England international on a permanent basis twice.

Lingard hasn't played for England in a World Cup match since October of last year.

The 26-year-old is one of several options the club are considering.
