The Central American country bought 500 coins for a total of $15.3 million at a price of $30,744 each.

The data shows that El Salvadoran is down on its B it coin bet. The country has acquired 2301 coins for a total of $103 million, but its portfolio is worth just $46 million.

Alejandro Zelaya said in May that the country had less than half of its annual budget in the form of Bitcoins.
