Jota: Celtic title winner seals permanent transfer from Benfica after loan spell

Jota spent last season on a loan from Benfica and has decided to join Celtic for the next five years.

When he moved to Glasgow, the fee had been agreed.

In 40 appearances, the Portuguese scored 13 goals and provided 14 assists for the Australian team.

Jota was capped up to under-21 level by his country after playing for Real Valladolid.

On Thursday, Celtic announced the signing of Argentine full-back Alexandro Bernabei, while the Scottish champion have also signed a central defender and a goalkeeper.
