European Under-19 Championship: Who are the England squad aiming for Euro final success?

The game between England and Israel in the European Under-19 Championship final will be shown live on the BBC Sport website and iPlayer.

The Three Lions defeated Austria, Serbia, and Israel and then knocked out Italy to reach the final.

Since England won this championship in 2017, players such as Mason Mount, Reece James andAaron Ramsdale have become senior internationals.

The rising stars of this year's team, who will hope to lift the trophy at the end of Friday's final in Slovakia, have been profiled by the British Broadcasting Corporation.

Goalkeepers

Matthew Cox lives inBrentford.

After playing the first two games of the championship, the goalkeeper was called into action for the third game against Israel. Ian Foster has a 19-year-old named Cox as his number one.

Harvey Davies is from the city ofLiverpool.

He was part of the Reds U18 squad that made it to the FA Youth Cup final in 2021, but he hasn't played in the league yet.

There is a person named Teddy Sharman-Lowe.

When he returned to the club on loan, he played in two games for Burton. He made his senior matchday squad debut as an unused substitute in the Carabao Cup win against Saints. In the win over Israel, the 19-year-old kept a clean sheet.

Defenders

There is a person named "luke Chambers."

In the last game of the group, the 18-year-old started and came off the bench. His first professional contract was signed in July of 2021.

There is a person who works forManchester City.

A lot of the players in this squad have played first-team football. The 18-year-old was a part of the team that got promoted back to the Championship after playing 39 league games. He has started three of England's four games.

There is a person namedRonnieEdwards

Three of the four games that have been played so far have been started by the imposing centre-back, Edwards. A number of clubs are reported to be interested in the fact that a bid from a premier league side has been rejected. The teenager was a regular for the team as they were demoted to the Championship. Since 2020-21, he has been playing senior football.

Bashir Humphreys is a member of the football team.

The 19-year-old, who signed his first professional contract in October, started two of the group games but was an unused substitute for the semi- final.

The person is BrookeNorton-Cuffy.

One of the players in this squad has played in the first team. The 18-year-old spent last season on loan at Lincoln in League One and offers an attacking outlet on the right-hand side.

Daniel is fromBrentford.

The 19-year-old defender played in all three group games and started in the win over Israel.

Jarell is fromLiverpool.

The team won the game against Italy to advance to the finals. The clean sheets the team kept during the three group games can be credited to the 19-year-old. He spent time on the bench for the senior team.

Midfielders

There is a person named Carney Chukwuemeka.

The Englishman has been the best at this tournament. He got a goal and an assist in each of the first two group games and you can see he is operating at a higher level. As he looks to make the next step and establish himself in senior football, Chukwuemeka appeared in 12 games for Villa last season. It's not clear how long he will stay at Villa Park as his contract is about to end and he has been linked with clubs.

There is a person named Alfie Devine who plays for Spurs.

Devine became the youngest player in Spurs' history to score a goal when he did it against Marine in the FA Cup. In the opening game of the group, the teenager scored an amazing goal for England.

Jamie Bynoe-Gittens is a football player.

Bynoe-Gittens' career has followed a similar path to that of Jadon Sancho's, with Bynoe-Gittens leaving Manchester City to join the team. In the last five games of last season, the 17-year-old made an excellent impact off the bench, although he only started in the group stage.

Samuel Iling- Junior is from Yugoslavia.

Another player who has gone abroad in the hunt for first-team football is Iling-Junior. The 18-year-old was on the bench for the first team's last game of the season against Fiorentina in 2020 after signing for the Bianconeri.

Iroegbunam is from Aston Villa.

He made three starts for Villa in the premier league. Iroegbunam has allowed the attacking players in the team to flourish and has played three of the four games so far.

The Aston Villa is owned by the Ramseys.

The brother of a Villa player is in the middle of the park. He assisted in the victory over Serbia. Ramsey, who was on loan at Cheltenham last season, has been playing in a more advanced position, linking with the front players.

AlexScott is from Bristol City.

Scott started the final two group matches after coming on as a substitute. He started 35 of Bristol City's 46 league games last season. He scored the goal for England in the semi-finals against Italy with his first touch.

The person is Harvey Vale.

During this campaign, Vale has captained England in three of the four games, only passing it on during the Israel match.

He made his debut for the Blues in the FA Cup. Although he is primarily a number 10, he has been playing in a lot of different areas.

Forwards

Liam is from Manchester City.

The 19-year-old forward got the only goal in the victory against Israel. He played for Manchester City's first team in the 2020-21 season and scored on his debut in the League Cup.

Daniel Jebbison is a soccer player.

Although the Canadian-born forward has not started any of England's matches, he is well known to many football fans as the youngest ever player to score on their premier league debut. He scored nine goals in 23 games before he was recalled by his club. The 18-year-old scored the fourth goal in the win over Serbia, and was destined to be a sportsman.

There is a person named "Dane Scarlett" who works for Spurs.

The first choice at this tournament has been 18-year-old Scarlett, who has started three of the four games and scored two times. He was given his Spurs debut in the year 2021. He has Harry Kane and Son Heung-min in front of him, but is predicted to have a bright future.
