Kyle Anderson has agreed to a two-year, $18 million deal to join the Minnesota Wolves, according to his agents.

Anderson gives a Minnesota team lacking wing depth a strong rotation player as the team looks to build on its playoff appearance. Anderson is next to Karl- Anthony Towns with his playmaking and shot- blocking ability.

Anderson hit the open market for the first time since leaving the San Antonio Spurs, a key figure in the Memphis Grizzlies'vaunted depth chart the past few seasons.

Anderson, 28, took a step back after his career year in 2020-21, when he averaged 7.6 points and 5.3 rebound in 21.5 minutes per game for the Grizzles "Slo Mo" made highlight reel plays while moving at half speed.

Anderson is an excellent passer who can also defend on the wing. Anderson is entering his ninth season in the NBA after being a late first-round pick out of UCLA.
