The Brooklyn Nets have re-signed free agent guard Patty Mills.
Mills, who had declined his $6.2 million option earlier this week, decided to return as NBA free agency opened Thursday, according to his agent.
Sources told Wojnarowski that Claxton had a two-year deal with the team.
Mills was a member of the San Antonio Spurs for the past 10 years.

In the absence of Joe Harris, one of the league's premier sharpshooters, Mills stepped up for the Nets. He played 18 minutes per game in the first round of the playoffs.
In the regular season, Mills had a 40% success rate on his 3-pointers. Over the last six seasons, Mills has made more than 1,000 3s. He's the only player in the NBA to hit that many 3-points while playing less than 30 minutes a game.
Mills had a career high in 3-pointers last year.
Mills won the NBA's Joe Dumars trophy last season for best representing the ideals of sportsmanship on the court and he is a highly respected teammate.
A second-round pick in the 2018 draft, Claxton quickly worked his way into the Nets' rotation and gave the team some much-needed defense off the bench.
The center can guard out on the perimeter and protect the rim. He was able to finish around the rim.
He played a career-high 20.7 minutes per game and averaged 8.6 points and 1.1 blocks.
