The Drako Dragon Super-SUV is the follow-up to the Drako GTE, and is powered by a 2,000-hp engine.

The Dragon zips from zero to 60 mph in 1.9 seconds using the company's in-house DriveOS Quad Motor Powertrain and DriveOS vehicle architecture. The company says that the Dragon feels less like a car and more like a spaceship because of the individual Torque Control and three stage suspension.

The Dragon's price, delivery date, and electric range are unknown.

The company doesn't reveal production and delivery numbers. He said that the Drako Dragon Super-SUV will be less expensive than the limited-production Drako GTE.

The creation of an expensive, limited-production halo car that would generate the profits to manufacture a mass-market EV is what led to the creation of Polestar and other EV makers. It is not clear if this is part of Drako's plan. The spokesman said that Drako isn't commenting on future products.

The company wouldn't say if all 25 Drako GTEs have been delivered or sold. It's difficult to sell a sophomore nameplate because of its unknown history of performance.

Jack Shea is an analyst at Snow Bull Capital. In order to compete in this segment, Drako will need to best its competitors in every metric.

Drako could benefit from entering the Super SUV segment early. The first SUV will be launched by Ferrari in 2023, but it won't have an EV until 25 years later. The Rimac Nevera is the first hypercar to be built by Rimac. There are profitable SUV divisions with an eye towards electric vehicles.

The strong demand for each company's respective SUV was the reason for the record annual deliveries last year. Drako would be the first true high end performance electric SUV in this segment, and these SUVs have massive margins that are padding the bottom-lines.

The Dragon will make its public debut later this year, the company said.
