A new tool in the country's push to attract international talent and become a regional technology hub is being offered by Deel.
Deel will be able to offer its customers, which include the likes of Coinbase Global Inc.
Alex Bouaziz said he expects this to be a big growth generator for Deel and a big magnet for talent. Ten years of self-sponsored residence or a more flexible one will be available for customers.
The country is trying to become a more attractive location for global technology companies as part of a plan todiversify. The agreement could eventually cover tens of thousands of employees, according to Bouaziz.
In October, Deel was valued at $5.5 billion and has received backing from investors. The company entered a public offer last week to acquire Australian payroll company Pay Group.
Deel said that the pact could serve as a model for future agreements.
