The administrators of Derby County have said that the takeover of the club is expected to be approved on Thursday.

Clowes' bid for Derby County was accepted over the weekend after it was reported that they would purchase the company that owned Pride Park Stadium.

The transaction was supposed to be completed on Wednesday, but it has been pushed back to Thursday.

All parties involved in the sale of Derby County have been working very hard since last weekend to complete the transaction.

There are some matters that are outside of the control of the joint administrators. The transaction is expected to be completed on Thursday, June 30th.

The administrators would like to assure staff, players and supporters that the outstanding issues need a short amount of additional time to be resolved.

The interim loan issued by Clowes would have allowed Derby to start the season and trade while a deal to purchase the Rams is completed.

David Clowes is the chairman at Clowes Developments.

He said that with a deadline looming and the start of the next season close, they needed to do something.

The stadium purchase seemed to be the first step. It was impossible for me to believe that the club was in danger of falling away.

The club was able to get going again in time for the next season thanks to the hard work of the team. We are happy to help deliver good news to players, staff and fans.

I am delighted that we are in a position to be able to keep the football club going. This is a big deal for Clowes Developments.

Rooney received a lot of praise for the work done by the club in their fight to stay in the league.

The Rams would have finished 18th, level with Bristol City, had it not been for the deduction for entering administration. Despite the toils of a team full of young players, punishments for issues off the pitch proved too much of a stumbling block.

I met with the administrators to let them know that I was leaving the club. They tried to change my mind, but it was not possible.

I have enjoyed my time at the club, even though it has been a roller coaster of emotions.

The events that have happened over the last eighteen months have made me feel that the club needs to be led by someone with fresh energy. I will remember my time at Derby with great pride and affection and would like to thank all my staff, players and the fans. I will always remember you and hope to see you again in a better time.
