Amazon restricts search results related to lesbian, gay, bisexual and queer people and issues on its website in the U.A.

According to reports, the firm took the step after being under pressure.

Pride month, which is dedicated to celebrating lesbian, gay, bisexual and queer people around the world, comes to a close.

"As a company, we remain committed to diversity, equity and inclusion, and we believe that the rights of LGBTQ+ people must be protected," an Amazon spokesman told the British Broadcasting Corporation.

They said that they have to comply with the local laws and regulations of the countries in which they operate.

According to the New York Times, the company decided to restrict the searches after being threatened with penalties by the government of the United Arab Emirates.

The embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Washington did not respond to the request.

The Kuwait foreign ministry summoned a top US diplomat in protest over the American embassy's support of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and queer (LGBT) rights.

There was a rainbow flag and a message of support from the US.

The embassy was criticized by Kuwait officials for its support of homosexuality.

Men in Kuwait are not allowed to be gay and the rights of Lesbian, Gay, and Bisexual people are very limited.

State TV said that Saudi Arabia seized rainbow-coloured toys and children's clothing because they claimed they encouraged homosexuality.

The report showed the removal of items from shops in Riyadh.

Hair clips, pop-its, t-shirts, hats and pencil cases were included.
