Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez dodged a question from Stephen Colbert, who wanted to know if she would run for president in four years.

During a segment of Tuesday's episode of "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert," the host asked the democrat if she would throw her hat in the ring.

I know a person who is going to turn 35 about a month before the election in New York's 14th district. He asked if that job was appealing to him as he pretended to look around for someone else.

We need to keep a democracy for anyone to be president in the next couple of years. The central focus of my life is helping the people of this country.

Colbert joked that his questions would cause her trouble.

"I don't know about that," she said with a laugh.

She said that House members who asked for a pardon should be kicked out of office.

There was a conscientiousness of guilt and it was stunning to see.

She said that they were aware of what they were doing.

While speaking to CNN earlier this month, the congresswoman wouldn't say if she would vote for Biden in the election in 2024.

We'll cross that bridge when we get to it, because I'm focused on winning this House majority right now and preserving a majority this year and 2022. If the president has a vision, we're all willing to look at it.
