Judge lifts Trump’s contempt order in New York civil probe

A New York judge lifted a contempt-of-court order against Donald Trump on Wednesday after he failed to comply with a subpoena.

The contempt order was lifted by the New York Supreme Court Judge after he reviewed new submissions from the Trump team.

The newly submitted documents were enough to lift the order, according to the judge.

Donald J. Trump's contempt of court is to be removed.

CNBC asked for comment from James' office.

The contempt finding was unwarranted and improper in the first place according to an attorney for Trump. We will fight to get justice for our client.
