Romelu Lukaku went back to Inter Milan on a season-long loan a year after he left for Chelsea.
Inter have agreed to pay a loan fee for Romelu Lukaku, who helped them win the title in 2020.
He scored 15 goals in all competition last season, despite not being a starter.
The financial situation of the club meant it was not possible for them to match his wages or buy him on the open market.
StevenZhang personally got involved in the negotiations last week which was seen as significant.
"I'm back baby," Lukaku said in a video on Inter's Twitter page.
I'm very happy. The big boss is not gone. It is like going back to the same place.
A five-year deal was signed by Romelu Lukaku last summer after he returned to the club after a two year absence.
He was left out of the starting line-up and in an interview with Sky Sport Italia he said he wasn't happy with his role under Thomas Tuchel.
After apologising for his comments, Romelu came back to the squad and scored three times in the final 15 games of the season for the Blues.
They finished third in the league and were beaten on penalties in the League Cup final.
Inter was two points behind AC Milan in second place. They are talking with Dybala as well.
At the end of the month, the Argentina international will be a free agent.
