Nothing’s Phone 1 uses Qualcomm’s midrange Snapdragon 778G Plus processor

The company has confirmed that the Phone 1 is powered by the same processor as the flagship device. The phone isn't likely to have the raw performance of a device with a flagship processor.

Carl Pei told Input Mag that the company chose the lower-specced chip because it offered a better mix of price, performance, heat output, and power consumption. The Plus variant of the 778G does not support wireless and reverse wireless charging, features normally reserved for the company's flagship chips. The 778G before it was marginally faster than the 778G before it.

The Phone 1 may be joined by a black version, according to recent leaks. The second color seems to have the same illuminating light strips as the white model. The rumored specifications include a 6.55-inch 120Hz display, a 4,500mAh battery with 45W fast charging, and 8 gigabytes of RAM.

Nothing hasn't been shy about revealing the Phone 1's features ahead of time It showed off its rear design, gave an early sample, and confirmed that the phone isn't going to be launched in the US. The price and release date will be announced on July 12.
