  • Rudy Giuliani should be investigated for making up a crime.

  • It felt like a gunshot when Giuliani accused a ShopRite employee of hitting him.

  • There was a lot of creativity surrounding Giuliani's account.

Rudy Giuliani made a false police report about being attacked at a Staten Island grocery store, according to New York Mayor Eric Adams.

During a media appearance on Tuesday, Adams commented on the incident in which a Shoprite employee slapped Giuliani on the back while he was in the store.

Giuliani accused Gill of hitting him so hard that it felt like a gunshot. He said that Gill's blow could have caused him to fall.

Giuliani did not lose balance after Gill's hand came into contact with his back.

Gill was charged with a more serious crime. The charge was reduced to a third-degree assault charge on Monday.

Adams wants someone to remind Giuliani that reporting a crime is not a good idea. There was a lot of creativity from what he said about being punched in the head. The district attorney has the wrong person to investigate.

Falsely reporting a crime is a crime. The person would have been charged with punching the former mayor if the video had not been there. Adams said that he would have been charged with all the offenses that didn't come to fruition.

If we did not have the video, what would we do? The person would have been accused of a serious crime if he had only patted the guy on the back.

In an interview with the New York Post, Giuliani called Adams a fuck.

He has no idea what he's talking about. The complaint was not filed by me. The report was filed by his department. An investigation was done by the police. Giuliani said the police interviewed witnesses.
