Tucker Carlson became the subject of a campaign for abortion rights after a screen grab from an episode of "Tucker Carlson Tonight" was made into a token.
The NFT was auctioned off on Saturday to raise money for reproductive rights organizations.
A screen grab of a Fox News show featuring Carlson and Ron Johnson was included in the image.
An unintentionally pro-choice message was displayed on the Fox News chyron during the show. The phrase "standing up for what's right" was also displayed.
While Carlson and Johnson were arguing that people should have the right to decide whether or not to take a vaccine, Holzer had a different interpretation of the scene in the screen grab.
On May 11, 2021, the chyron on Tucker Carlson said that making an informed choice about your body shouldn't be controversial. The chyron was supposed to be anti-vaccine, but it could be pro-choice.
She said the "contradictions" between Carlson's previous statements on the vaccines and his current stance on abortion rights made her think of her earlier work.
The NFT, titled "BODY," was sold on Saturday to a buyer who also owns several other NFTs
The goal is social health "We must protect the rights of the individual that protect the health of society," wrote Holzer, announcing the auction, and saying it would benefit the PAI.
The Washington Post reported that the NFT went up for auction on Friday after the Supreme Court ruled against abortion.
Branstetter told The Post that she would donate her money to the DC abortion fund.
Branstetter said that he was happy to give permission for the work to raise money for abortion access.
Carlson was against abortion rights after the SCOTUS decision. He claimed last week that corporations were helping employees get abortions out-of-state because they were cheaper.
