British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said on Tuesday that the Ukrainian war might not have happened if Putin had been a woman.
Johnson said there should be more women in power during an interview with ZDF.
"If Putin was a woman, which he obviously isn't, if he were, I don't think he would have embarked on a crazy, macho war of invasion and violence in the way that he has," Johnson said.
He told ZDF that he wanted a perfect example of toxic masculinity.
Johnson told ZDF that there is no chance of a deal between Moscow and Kyiv in the near future.
He talked to ZDF after the G7 summit in southern Germany, where the agenda included providing more support for Kyiv and introducing harsher sanctions against Russia.
A video of the summit on Monday showed Johnson joking to his fellow leaders that they should undress to show that they are tougher than Putin.
Are the jackets on? As the press took pictures of them, the UK leader asked if they were jackets off.
He said they need to show them their pecs.
