  • Donald Trump raged on his social media platform.

  • It was a return to form for the former president.

  • He responded to Cassidy Hutchinson's testimony.

The testimony of a former top White House aide before the January 6 committee was the subject of a dozen social media posts by the former President.

There is no cross examination of this person. There is a court. He wrote on his platform.

He said that her body language was like that of a bull. There is a fantasy land!

After he was publicly criticized or news came out of the special counsel's investigation, Trump would use the social media platform to amplify his message. Trump and his allies created their own platform after he was kicked off of social media.

The first meeting of the House committee looking into the Capitol attack took place on Thursday. The testimonies of William Barr, the former attorney general, and the former president's daughter were included in the hearing.

Hutchinson made her claims under oath while Trump ranted. It's a crime to lie to congress.

Trump has a long history of lying. When he was president, he claimed that he passed legislation to improve veterans' health care when President Barack Obama signed it. The Washington Post documented how many times Trump claimed this.

Cassidy Hutchinson, who was a top aide for then-White House chief of staff MarkMeadows, told lawmakers that Trump tried to take the presidential limo to the Capitol while Congress certified his election loss.

Trump denied that he tried to hijack his own limo and threw his food against the wall because he was angry with Attorney General Bill Barr. The former president used all caps to emphasize that he never said that the Vice President should be hanged for not trying to overturn the election.

Despite the fact that she worked just steps from the Oval Office and was a top aide to the White House chief of staff, the former president kept trying to claim that he knew her.

"I don't know who this person is, other than I heard a lot of bad things about her," Trump wrote.

At one point, Trump spelled the last name of Liz Cheney wrong.

"Chaney left out a portion of my speech in order to make it seem like I was talking about peace and patriotism."

The man wrote. Isn't she a disgrace. When he told rally attendees to march to the Capitol on January 6, he said they should do it peacefully and patriotically.

Hutchinson's testimony undermined the claims by saying that Trump wanted the metal detectors to be taken down because the crowd wasn't large enough.

Hutchinson said that Trump said something to the effect of taking the magazines away. The Secret Service had taken weapons away from people who were trying to enter the rally. She said that the president didn't pay attention.

The president said something to the effect of "I don't effing care that they have weapons" as Hutchinson heard it. They don't want to hurt me. The mags should be taken away. My people can go to the Capitol from here. People should be allowed in. The effing mags need to be taken away.

It's fitting that on a day when Trump seemed to return to his old form, the crowd size claims came into focus. This time, it wasn't the White House press secretary who was yelling.

It was a former president who was upset with the social media platform created for him.

The January 6 rally crowd was massive according to Trump. I didn't want people with guns to be able to see my speech. Who would like that? I'm not me!

There is a social media platform.
