The Hyundai Ioniq 6 EV Is Astonishingly Aerodynamic

The company is on a winning streak. Despite the Pandemic and supply chain issues, global sales are up 4%, and sales outside of South Korea are up 7 percent. There is a small amount of awards

The jury of 102 automotive journalists from 33 countries chose the top three cars of the year and two of them were from theHyundai Motor Group. The EV6 is based on the same platform as the Ioniq 5 and is owned by a minority company. The final three electric vehicles were made by the Ford mustang Mach-E.

The World Electric Car and World Car Design of the Year were won by the Korean company. The Ioniq 5 was crowned Germany's Car of the Year in the year 2022.

Following the design and performance success of the Ioniq 5 and EV6, the automotive world is eager to see what will follow. It's over. The Ioniq 6 is the first EV model that will be introduced byHyundai over the next eight years.

The Ioniq 6 is the most aerodynamic car in the world, with a drag coefficient of 0.21, just a tad behind the 0.20 claimed by EQS. The sweeping silhouette is referred to by Sang Lee as "Yup streamliner typology."

Between the Ioniq 5 and the Ioniq 7 electric SUV, the Ioniq 6 appears to be for people looking for more performance than the family oriented Ioniq 5 affords. The electric streamliner has an ultra-low drag coefficient, which should help with the EV's as-yet-unstated range, as well as active air flaps at the front, wheel gap reducers, and optional digital side mirrors.
