Skywest operates a small Embraer 175 jet that was used to overbook a Delta flight from Grand Rapids to Minneapolis.

The maximum compensation was increased by both United and Delta.

It is extremely rare for passengers to be offered this amount, and airlines will usually go in with a low offer to see if anyone will take it. There are a number of factors that can affect the amount of compensation offered.
