Police in San Antonio, Texas, arrested a 19-year-old man Monday after he allegedly told a coworker that he was going to shoot up an Amazon warehouse.
The man was taken into custody without incident and charged with making terroristic threats.
According to the synopsis provided to Yahoo News, an employee of the location heard the suspect say he was going to do a mass shooting. There was credible information developed during the investigation.
A female coworker was told last Friday that it would be a good idea for someone to pull the fire alarm in case of a mass shooting, according to reports. He allegedly said he was going to carry one out. The coworker didn't tell anyone about the threat because she was afraid of Aceves and worried that he would retaliate, but changed her mind Monday and told her managers.
The woman said that Aceves called the Uvalde shooter an idol. She said that the man had recently said he was tired of living and had purchased a rifle.
The father told investigators that his son has a history of mental illness, had stopped taking his medication years ago, and had spent time in a mental health facility as a teenager. When he bought a gun, family members were concerned.

President Biden just signed into law the first major federal gun safety legislation in nearly 30 years, which helps states create and execute crisis intervention programs and closes a loophole in domestic violence law.

Raising the age to buy firearms from 18 to 21 was not included in the legislation that Biden requested.
