Cassidy Hutchinson, a senior aide to former White House Chief of Staff MarkMeadows who has provided crucial information to the panel in lieu of testimony from her former boss, will testify on Tuesday.

According to the Washington Post, the former aide shared information about activity in the White House before and after the inauguration.
The committee shared clips of testimony from Hutchinson, including one in which he shared a list of Republicans.
According to the Post, Hutchinson confirmed to the committee that she heard former President Donald Trump support rioters who called for the death of Vice President Mike Pence.
The committee was told by Hutchinson that after a meeting in the weeks following the election, papers were burned in his office. It is not clear what documents were being destroyed.
The January 6 committee is focusing on Trump's behavior before and during the insurrection. CNN obtained a trove of text messages from Trump allies, including his family members and elected officials, who advocated for strategies to overturn election results. The House panel voted to holdMeadows in contempt after he refused to cooperate with the panel and turned over the text messages and emails. Bennie Thompson said last week that the committee would delay its next round of hearings until after the House's two-week recess, which ends on July 11.
