Gabriel Jesus: Manchester City and Brazil forward having medical at Arsenal before £45m move

A medical is being done for Gabriel Jesus before he leaves Manchester City for £45 million.

The 25-year-old Brazil forward has been wanted by a number of clubs, both in the premier league and in Europe, but has decided to join the north London club.

Jesus scored 95 goals for City after moving from Palmeiras.

He has won at least three cups in each of the last three years.

After City signed Erling Haaland, his playing time was likely to be limited.

Mikel Arteta and Jesus worked together when Jesus was a coach at City. The Spaniard is trying to improve his side's attacking options following the departures of forwards.

The club has been linked with Raphinha, a player from the United Kingdom, and has already signed a player from Porto for over thirty million dollars.

Despite finishing fifth in the league, the team missed out on a place in the group stage of the European competition.

The club's top scorer was 20-year-old England international Bukayo Saka, who scored 12 goals.

He scored eight goals and had nine assists in 28 appearances in the premier league.

He scored 19 goals for Brazil after making his senior debut.
