Diving into its more winter-ready line of goods from its recent Fall/Winter 2019 collection, Stone Island's more technically-aligned offshoot Stone Island Shadow Project has released its latest heavy down coat, the Funnel Hood Down Parka in a ravishing DPM Chiné ripstop fabric.
Emblazoned with a specially-designed camouflage pattern, the piece exhibits a mix of red, purple, and gray-scale hues. Detail-wise, the parka sees a variety of utilitarian details from removable hand gaiters, a stowable neck gaiter, a detachable funnel hood, a bevy of pockets, the brand's signature inside straps to allow for over-the-shoulder carrying, and more. The fabric itself maintains the Italian sportswear brand unique focus on research and development, creating a lightweight wool-polyester blend ripstop that's been outfitted with an anti-drop formula for increased water and dirt repellence.
