Emma Roberts, star of American Horror Story and Scream Queens, has been added to the cast of Sony Pictures' Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Man Universe.
The news came from Deadline. Roberts is the newest addition to the recently announced co-stars. S.J.Clarkson will direct from a script.
Madame Web, an elderly woman who suffered from a lifetime of blindness and many years of neurological decline due to myasthenia gravis, will be the subject of a movie. There is already an incredible line up of female Spiderverse characters Sony could have gone with, unless Madame Web ties them all together. Some of the more recognizable in the group, like Jessica Drew's Spider- Woman or Gwen Stacy's Ghost Spider, could definitely fit the bill for Roberts, Sweeney, O'Connor, and Merced. Is Madame Web going to bring a squad of characters together in a completely new version of the comics lore for the film? Please bring in Cindy Moon's Silk as well.
Madame Web did not fight any villains due to her age and health issues. Sources have said that the project could turn into something else. More Madame Web updates will be coming soon. Either way, it's or not. We don't know what this movie will be. In the comments, don't be crazy.
