The APIs will allow developers to schedule and get social interaction metrics for Reels. The Reels can be published on the business accounts. Developers will be able to reply to comments, remove comments, hide/unhide comments, and enable comments on reels. Developers will be able to find public reels that have been tagged with certain phrases. The developers will be able to identify the Reels in which the creator has tagged or mentioned.

Developers who already have access to the applicable application programming interface will be able to use Reels. If the app has been approved for the appropriate permission levels, developers won't need to put it through another App Review.
