Envoy Air is trying to stop flight disruptions during the peak summer travel season by offering triple pay to its pilots.

According to a note sent to Envoy pilots, "super critical coverage has been declared for July 2-31 for all bases." The open time will be paid at 300%. Please let me know in advance for your assistance.

Although triple pay is applicable throughout July, it doesn't mean open trips are always available for pilots.

Wilson said that they want to make sure that they can operate reliably for their customers.

The upcoming Fourth of July holiday weekend will be a test for airlines that have been struggling to keep up with demand.

In order to alleviate a pilot shortage that airlines say has forced them to cut routes, Envoy, Piedmont and PSA have agreed to give pilots a 50% pay increase.
