England's new attacking approach has sent a message to players in county cricket who want to get into the Test team.

When selecting the next squad, a player's method will be on the mind of the selection team.

He said that the last three games should have sent a message to anyone who wants to play for England.

The manner in which you play is what matters. It was not going to be about statistics, it was about the way you play.

We would like to build on this. It's also about the future as well.

England needed 113 runs in 15.2 overs to win the game. The total number of overs was 54.2

After a delayed 13:30 BST start, Joe Root made 86 not out off 125 balls and Jonny Bairstow made 71 off 44 to finish the job.

England scored 539 from 128 overs in the first Test against the world's top ranked team before chasing down 299 in 50 overs on the final day.

The new coach said that the captain is pushing the envelope.

He said that the man came in last night and said they should chase it. I wanted to have a go and see.

Anything is possible in cricket and that's a good mindset for a captain to have and exactly what this team needed.

Sometimes he will push too far, but that's okay. I don't want him to push it too far.

The side that had won one of their past 17 Tests has been transformed by the two men who replaced them.

It's amazing to work with someone who wants more than just results to go their way, even if it doesn't work out in the end.

I have been very happy working with him.
