It is easy to replicate the movie theater experience at home as real movie theaters continue to die off and the price of projector and home theater gear keeps dropping. Home theaters can be even more elaborate when money is not an object. There is a Star Wars themed hotel that could be part of Disney's Galactic Star cruiser hotel.
There are seven bedrooms, nine-and-a-half bathrooms, a custom Swarovski crystal chandelier, a resort-caliber pool with a rock waterfall and slide in a 10,742 sq ft home in Florida.
This home is located in a different part of Florida. It was designed by Disney Imagineering and was built in the Carolwood neighborhood at Golden Oak. There are Disney-themed stained glass windows around the courtyard, a replica of the marble fireplace in the apartment above Cinderella's castle, and a home theater that makes you feel like you're in a movie.
Although not a perfect replica of the Millennium Falcon's cockpit, this theater pairs a giant screen with plush leather seating, random computer interface, and light-up panels in the walls to provide a glimpse of the battle.
There is a mini-kitchen at the back of the theater and a bar at the front. Even if this home were located in the middle of Montana, it would still be a great place to hang out with your Star Wars friends. Golden Oak residents have access to the parks for extended hours, as well as private shuttles. They need to keep up with the association fee.
