The company was not prepared to welcome back workers after Musk ordered them to return to work. According to a report from The Information, employees arrived at the facility only to find a lack of parking spots, no desk to sit at, and bad wi-fi.

The current employees told The Information that they had trouble finding a place to park. Some people decided to park at the nearby BART station and then be shuttled to work byTesla.

Managers told some employees to work from home because of the desk situation. Even if employees were able to sit down, the signal was not strong enough for them to work.

Musk had a plan to get employees back to work, but it wasn't successful. Musk is busy with many things. Things seem to be going well, if that means potentially illegally firing employees who criticize your behavior, since he has a company that runs too. Musk is in a fight with the company about how many of its users are actually humans. He has made his feelings known that he will only allow for those who do excellent work at the micro-blogging site.
