According to a Taiwanese publication, Apple suppliers have begun shipping components for the new model of the phone. It's possible that the report refers to components being shipped to manufacturers for final assembly of iPhone 14 models.

A paywalled preview of a report that should be published in full by tomorrow states that component suppliers have kicked off their shipments for the next-generation iPhone series.

The notch is expected to be replaced by a pill-shaped cutout and a hole in the back of the phone, according to rumors. The new Pro models are expected to feature a faster A16 chip and an upgraded 48-megapixel rear camera lens with support for 8K video recording.

An always-on display that integrates with the Lock screen is rumored to be a headline feature of the next iteration of the device.

The full lineup is expected to include the 6.1-inch iPhone 14, 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max, 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro, and 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max, with the 5.4-inch mini model being discontinued. An upgrade to the front camera, increased RAM, and support for wi-fi 6e could be improvements to the standard model.

The four iPhone 13 models were released in the United States and more than 30 other countries on September 24 last year. The high-end iPhones have been announced in September every year for over a decade now, with the exception of 2020 when the lineup was delayed due to the Pandemic.
