Imagine how surprised Owain Davies was when he discovered that his phone still worked after he was submerged in a river.
Davies had given up hope of ever seeing the phone again after it was lost on a canoeing trip in England, but it was recovered and returned to him.
While out on the water, Pacheco found Davies' phone. According to Pacheco, the phone looked bad and so he thought it wouldn't work. He took the phone home, dried it out, and put it on charge.
The phone started to work.

Davies lost his phone when he fell into the water while trying to stand up.
