Ronald Acuna Jr. is not in the starting lineup for the Atlanta Braves against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday night.

Acuna was on a medical scooter to keep his foot elevated while he was in the Braves' locker room. The star outfielder said he couldn't put pressure on his foot despite the tests showing no break.

"That is the one thing that has me a little worried, but we'll see how it goes,'' Acuna said through a translator.

Acuna didn't wear a protective boot. He asked for the scooter because he could not put pressure on his foot.

The Braves are off on Monday and Tuesday.

Braves manager Brian Snitker said the injury was just a bruise and that they would see where he was on Tuesday. If it's not broken, Snitker said he was not worried about Acuna putting pressure on his foot.

Acuna hit a ball off the top of his foot in the third baseman's box. He stayed in the game until the end.

He said that as the game went on he couldn't stand it.

Acuna missed the first half of the season due to a tornACL in his right knee. Atlanta went on to win the World Series despite him missing the rest of the season because of a torn ligament in his knee.

After spending time as the designated hitter early in his comeback, Acuna is back in right field and leads the Braves with 13 stolen bases.

"It's a feeling that reminds me of last year, just the frustration of not wanting to have to do anything related to rehabs or rehab assignments or anything.'' I would like to be able to play every single day. Being unable to play every day is frustrating.

The spot usually held by Acuna is hit by Dansby. Marcell Ozuna is in left field while Adam Duvall is in right field.
