Facebook’s video app may no longer work on Apple TV

According to 9to5Mac, the Facebook app for smart TVs may not be available on Apple TV. After the most recent update, some users say they are no longer able to use the app.

The Facebook Watch TV app is no longer available, but you can still find lots of videos on Facebook, according to an image shared in a thread on Mac Rumors. Users have the same experience.

The Watch app on Apple TV was first launched by Facebook. The app can be found on various smart TVs and consoles, as well as on Facebook's mobile app and desktop site. Users who still want to use the Watch app on Apple TV should be able to castWatch from their phone to their TV, but this obviously isn't as convenient as simply opening up an app.

It is not clear if the Facebook Watch app is no longer available due to a glitch or if Facebook pulled the app from Apple TV. One of the supported platforms is Apple TV. A request for comment was made to Apple and Facebook, but they didn't reply immediately.
